The first project by Ponte Radio, Alice, resulted in On the border/Through the mirror, a double theatrical show performed by 160 elementary school children in Alfonsine (Italy) and Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina).The show was divided into two distinct parts, represented in a shared stage space, as if one were the reflection of the other.

On a journey through Bosnia and Herzegovina one can find everything from joy to the horrors of war. The first obstacle was that of the border, not only the physical one but also that derived from the language. Our research begins with the language.

 

Alice is the anarchist symbol of the non border and to start we just have to look at the fertile and instinctive imagination of being a child that directly manages to reach the intentions and imagination of adults.

The show On the Border/Through the mirror participated at Sarajevo Mess Festival, the Nobodaddy Festival of Ravenna and at Lavori in Pelle - Festival of contemporary dance in Alfonsine.
